We have a clear vision for the work God has called us to in Haiti. If you have caught the vision to empower Haitian women and mothers as a long term solution to alleviate the suffering of Haitian children, then we urge you to join this ministry today by becoming a partner. Our mandate is to partner with our Canadian and Haitian friends to accomplish the work at hand. Today, you could become part of this great team that envisions change for the nation of Haiti.

P.W.P. encourages monthly pledges. This is the best way for us to be able to evaluate the needs in Haiti, assess our financial base and appropriate funds as necessary. Pledges may be sent to our mailing address and we can hold post dated checques for one year on file.

We gratefully receive one time donations of any amount. Some partners want to eliminate writing monthly cheques, and prefer to send the whole amount at once.

We encourage groups of any size to invite P.W.P. to join you for a presentation of our work in Haiti. These are informal, enlightening gatherings where we express the P.W.P. vision accompanied with slides or video depicting our work and general information on the country itself. We accept free will offerings for these meetings.

Participating in our annual walk-a-thon is a great time of fun and fellowship as well as fund raising for everyone. It affords an opportunity for individuals to go beyond what may be possible for them to do on their own. By investing a small amount of time it can bring a great reward in pledges. This is our largest fund raising event for the year and we aim to keep it growing. Many church groups hold their own version of the walk-a-thon in their home town because it is not possible for them to join us on our scheduled day. Some have made an announcement at their church indicating they want to walk representing their whole church. One person walks and the rest of the congregation sponsors. Over the years we have been encouraged by the dedication and creative ways our partners have found to support P.W.P. on walk-a-thon day.

Persons may select one of two areas where they would like their donation to be directed. Liberty School For Women or where most needed.

We are a non profit charity registered with the Canadian government which enables us to provide receipts for income tax purposes. These receipts are issued at year end in the month of January. Our directors make every effort to keep operating costs to a bare minimum and have personally committed to cover much of the administration expenses incurred by the ministry at this time. We want to make every effort to use funding in Haiti and not in Canada. It is expected that every person traveling to Haiti with P.W.P. as well as P.W.P. directors cover all the expenses associated with their trip.
