Look What Kelly Did!
PWP continues to be inspired by what our partners do to participate in raising the much needed funds to keep the programs in Haiti functioning and expanding. We believe we have the best partners ever!!
Recently Kelly Romanick, owner and operator of Moksha Yoga Guelph added PWP to a list of charities who are the recipients of a unique initiative that she created to generate funding. Kelly offers what she calls a “Karma” class once a week where people can experience a yoga class in her amazing studio for just $5.00. All the proceeds from these classes are then given to various charities. This is an inspired way she makes it possible for those who don’t have the means to join at the regular class price to participate! This then gives people the opportunity to give in the spirit of generosity to others in need. It is the “play it forward” concept in motion. Kelly went one step further for PWP and is silent auctioning a Haitian metal art piece during the month of November in an effort to increase the donation for PWP even more. It doesn’t take much to give a lot and Kelly has certainly found a way to show us all to step up and step out, actively touching our global community. Way to go Kelly!
